This is an initial proof of concept teaser of our film. This clip is the result of three days of camera tests performed in the Nevada desert done with our film crew, our stunt pilot CC Pocock and with stunt actress Deborah Liss.
LOGLINE
Young student pilot crashes in the desert and is forced to deal with a vicious drug cartel as she attempts to escape with their money and reach civilization. An electrifying action packed thriller meets girl power story.
ABOUT THE FILM
Filmmaker Michal Siewierski decided to combine his passion for the outdoors and aviation into a unique, electrifying, action packed thriller feature film. Having a unique skillset that includes two decades of television production and filmmaking as well as being both an airplane and helicopter pilot, canyoning enthusiast, weapons expert, survivalist and having martial arts experience gives Michal a unique ability to combine all his years of filmmaking and life skills to create this unique action movie. Having also profound knowledge of the desert landscape gives Michal an advantage when filming in this ecosystem. Also, as a father of a little girl, Michal wanted to create a mainstream film that will not only be entertaining and fun to watch by a wide global audience, but that will also be inspiring to woman all around the world, hence the approach with a girl power story. His mission with Desert Heist is to empower woman and inspire viewers to never give up, even when faced with life threatening difficulties in the darkest of hours.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
Michal Siewierski is a world renowned filmmaker and TV producer. Michal has received multiple Emmy Award nominations and won several Telly Awards and Hermes Awards. Michal has over 20 years of experience in the fields of television production and filmmaking, having produced several globally renowned feature documentaries, including, Food Choices, Diet Fiction, Takeout, Longevity Hackers and God Bless Bitcoin, among others. His films have been translated to over 20 languages and some played in over 150 countries. His productions have played on several TV stations throughout the United States and around the world. Nowadays Michal’s focus is in creating films and documentaries about topics that can benefit people’s lives and create disruptive positive change to our society and our planet. Michal is also passionate about the outdoors, horses and aviation. He lives in Phoenix, AZ with his wife and daughter.
